Whats new: Safeguarding Updates

Making it easy for someone to raise a Safeguarding Concern and have that data managed securely is important.  With many churches using email for a Concern to be raised (including some providing personal email addresses rather than a church address) we are pleased to launch the Safeguarding Concern form.

This form can be embedded onto your church website so someone can raise a Safeguarding Concern at anytime. 

The form can also be sent as a link.

When a Safeguarding form is created, iKnow Church will automatically generate a QR code linking to the form. This QR code can then be added to Safeguarding Posters and church material. 

To create your Safeguarding form, the Account Safeguarding Lead can go to Safeguarding > Settings > Embed within your iKnow Church account. 

Other Concern Updates

The other updates we have released for Concerns include:

Assign a Concern to a member of the Safeguarding team. To enable this, go to Safeguarding > Settings > Options. 

Filter Concerns by stages and who they are assigned to. 

DBS/Checks Updates

Checks Importer

Managing checks within iKnow Church is very simple so you can see when to re-check a persons certificate.  Now it is possible to import all of your checks/DBS through out importer. This includes importing when they are due for renewal so you can start using iKnow to manage future checks.

DBS Update Service

For churches in England and Wales that use the DBS Update Service, we have now added this functionality so you can record how an Applicant gave their consent for the DBS Update Service and set reminders to check.
