Get Started With iKnow Church
Here at iKnow Church, we want you to be able to get started with our software as easily and as quickly as possible. That is why we have invested heavily over the past few months to provide churches with a simple and effective implementation plan.
Once you have logged in to your iKnow Church account, if you are a leader of a team or group, the data subject lead, a group overseer or the leader of the church, you will automatically see a video on your dashboard. This video is a quick stop tour of iKnow to give you an overview of the whole software in less than 10 minutes. Once you have seen it, you can click on ‘OK, Got it!’ and the video will disappear. If you or your leaders don’t have time to watch it there and then, you can click on ‘Show me later’ which will save it at the top of the screen until you decide to watch it. If you want to watch it after that, you can simply click the button at the top of the page and select ‘Show Video’ and the video will appear on your dashboard again. If you have selected ‘OK, Got it!’ it will then disappear and the only other way to view that video again is to visit our support site under our Get Started page.
Once the video comes to an end, it will give you the option to select ‘Get Started’ which will then take you through to the ‘I am’ page on our support site.
When you get through to our ‘I am’ (which can also be accessesd by going to our support site) you will be provided with various roles within the church.
This is where you can select your role and received a simple step by step guide on how each particular person can get themselves familiar with the areas of iKnow that are relevant to them.
If you select the role that best describes you, it will take you to a Get Started Guide. Depending on your role there could be 1 to 2 phases within your Get Started Guide.
Click onto the first phase and you will download a PDF sheet with various tick boxes that you can aim to complete. Follow along for all phases that are applicable to your role until you have completed each task.
If you need help or would like further information as you go through these guides, under the Get Started Guides section you will see a list of different areas of iKnow listed (for example, under the Group Leader’s Get Started Guide, there are Groups, Processes, My To Do’s etc). If you click on each of these areas, it will take you through to different articles that go into more detail explain how each areas of iKnow works. Some of these come with video tutorials to help you see exactly how each areas looks and works.
The heart behind iKnow is that churches would grow. As part of that, we want to release the administrative burden on church leaders by helping them to streamline their administration and pastoral care so that it is as simple and effective as possible.
The reason we have released this new implementation plan is because we want to make it as straight forward as we can for you to get started with iKnow so that you can focus more on the people than the admin.
