Spring is in the air, and new birth is happening all around us. As Christians, this marks an important reminder to us of what Jesus accomplished on the cross; giving us new life.
Whilst leaders look for new ways to share this important message, the pressure of completing daily tasks involved in the running of church can quickly mount up whilst seeking to provide fresh inspiration, both to those who already know their salvation and to all the many who do not.
The spring season often sees churches hosting people who do not attend church on a regular basis, particularly during and after the Easter holiday. Whilst the provision of motivational sermons can have a profound impact, as Christians we desire that these people meet with Jesus personally and that they start attending on a more regular basis, so as to continue their walk with the support of maturer Christians.
Our vision at iKnow Church is firmly rooted in the scripture passage of John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me”. This simple but profound piece of scripture underpins the way we approach our current and future development work.
The aim of iKnow Church software is to ensure that no one is lost within church. We are constantly developing new and innovative ways of providing leaders with relevant insights into the health of their church, which not only helps the church in preparing for growth but in strengthening its existing body of believers.
By using the Group module in iKnow Church, small group leaders are able to assess the wellbeing of individual members on a weekly basis and provide effective support. Leaders are given communication abilities to be able to easily contact their members via email, text and through chat room styled ‘iShare’ facilities, they are also given an easy method of contacting their group overseer if there are any pastoral issue that need consideration.
iKnow Church will cleverly notify small group leaders of dropping attendance rates and present a friendly suggestion to touch base with people who may have been away for awhile. This alleviates the need to remember to keep track of everyone within the group and takes the guesswork out of remembering specific attendance history, helping leaders to lead more effectively without draining their time and personal resources.
This data not only assists small group leaders in managing their members but it also feeds into the Metrics module, to provide key church insights direct to main church leaders and group overseers, who are then able to quickly asses the overall health of the church.
iKnow Church has a number of tools to assist churches, making sure that members are being looked after and discipled in an effective way.
