Job Description
We have a position for a graduate web developer to join our team and help us to continue building great software for our clients.
If this is you and you are excited by building software solutions then your primary role will be joining the team developing our church software products.
The software is continually being developed so you will be joining the team that is adding new features and developing the products. You will also be involved in planning the future features to improve and enhance the product. As part of a development team you will be making changes to software that is used daily by people around the world.
This is an exciting position to work in a fast growing company and develop the software used by many churches around the UK.
Desirable Skills
PHP, SQL (MySQL), JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON,
The will to explore and experiment with new technologies.
Experience of Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks
Excellent coding and testing methodology
Relevant degree with at least an expected 2:1 result
Our Graduate Scheme is a 2 year programme.
Participants in the Graduate Scheme will benefit from:
- 2 Fridays a month to hone a particular work related skill.
- Starting salary: £23,000 with a salary review every 6 months during the Graduate Scheme.
- Graduate welcome: £1,500 on day 1 with iKnow Church.
At the end of a graduate scheme, a successful candidate will be offered permanent employment with iKnow Church and a competitive salary.
